Roger Extraordinaire

So Australia is out of the way, Roger the Extraordinary continues to extend the greatest mens career ever and Wozniacki finally opens her grand slam account.

We look forward to Roland Garos and wonder if Rafa can claim number 11 and whether Roger will take a tactical break again to peak at Wimbledon. Andy, Novak, Stan and Nishi have all been in the wars but will all be aiming for Paris and Wimbledon.

Looking back to last years Championship’s some of the most exciting tennis took part with the ladies, and in particular Johanna Konta’s epic Quarter Final against Simona Halep. If your looking for value during the Wimbledon fortnight you could do much worse than picking up Ladies Q/F or S/F tickets. These are always the cheapest of the 13 days, indeed the ladies Q/F are available at £1575 + vat for a pair, compared to the Gentlemen’s at £4725 !!

Perhaps, with the money saved, you might enjoy lunch in The Courtside Restaurant and enjoy the debenture areas superb hospitality, all within the Centre Court complex itself. If fact, why not push the boat out and book The Champions Room, the AELTC’s ultimate experience, a sumptuous lunch minutes from your seat. A table and included bar all day, popping back around 4PM for a bowl of strawberries and a glass of champagne invariably hits the spot.

Wimbledon is not just first class sport, its first class entertaining, embrace it all.
