Preparing for your day at Wimbledon
Be prepared for all weathers, hot, cold, wet and dry (some say Wimbledon has it’s own weather system). Wear comfortable footwear, flip-flops and high heels are not recommended.
Bringing a bag to The Championships can be a burden. If you need to bring a bag then it should measure no more than 40cm x 30cm x 30cm, with as few compartments as possible. Bags with wheels are strongly discouraged.
If you have dietary requirements you may wish to bring a selection of food and drink for your consumption during the day. Gluten free products are available in the Aorangi Food Court, Café Pergola and the Conservatory Kitchen.
If you intend to bring alcohol the All England Club have strict limits and restrictions, spirits are not allowed. Please see the Debenture Guide 2023, Conditions of Entry. Please do not pack any of the items specified on the above guide.
Allow yourself plenty of time to arrive. There are security measures in place and transport networks are generally congested.
The grounds, Centre Court and outside courts
Always allow yourself plenty of time to get to a destination. Please do not rush through crowded areas and take care on walkways, staircases and stairwells.
Don’t leave any items unattended at any time, and please keep your ticket on your person at all times.
Please turn your phone off when on Centre Court or near any outside courts. Please do not use flash photography. You may not bring selfie-sticks into the AELTC.
